Freeing Memory by Disabling Wallpaper
Disabling User Wallpaper
Microsoft Windows allows you to choose a picture to show as wallpaper on your desktop. However, this can dramatically slow your computer down. It is far better to have a solid colour background.
- Close all programs.
- From the Windows taskbar, click on the START button.
- Choose SETTINGS.
- Choose CONTROL PANEL.
- Double click DISPLAY.
- Choose the Background tab, then set both the PATTERN and WALLPAPER to NONE.
- Choose OK.
