Transferring Browser Favourites to Another System

To transfer your Internet Explorer favourites to a new system:

1. On the original system, open Internet Explorer.

2. Choose Import and Export from the File menu.

3. Choose Next.

4. Select Export Favorites and choose Next.

5. Choose Next.

6. Under Export to a File or Address, enter:

   A:\bookmark.htm if you have a floppy disk drive in both systems, or

   C:\bookmark.htm.

   If applicable, insert a floppy disk.

7. Click Next.

8. Click Finish.

   Internet Explorer will save the favorites to the file specified.

9. If using the floppy disk, place the disk in the new system.

   If not using a floppy disk, email the file c:\bookmark.htm to yourself. When the file arrives at the new system, save it to C:\.

10. Open Internet Explorer on the new system.

11. Choose Import and Export from the File menu.

12. Choose Next.

13. Select Import Favorites and choose Next.

14. Choose Next.

15. Under Import from a File or Address, enter:

    A:\bookmark.htm if using a floppy disk, or

    C:\bookmark.htm.

16. Click Next.

17. Click Next.

18. Click Finish.

    The Favorites will then be imported.
