SBS 2008: Companyweb Does Not Load

In a Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) 2008 environment, http://companyweb no longer displays. On the server, it shows “Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))” or “Cannot complete this action. Please try again”.

Possible resolutions:

1. Open an elevated command prompt and enter:

   "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web server extensions\12\BIN\psconfig" -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -force

2. Run the Sharepoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard.
