Microsoft Account Recovery Code

To create or view the Recovery Code for a Microsoft Account (not a Microsoft 365 account):

1. Click on the profile circle in the top right and choose My Microsoft Account.

2. Click Security on the left.

3. Click Manage How I Sign In.

4. Scroll down to Recovery Code, and click Generate A New Code.

5. Note the code and click Got It.
