Sending Email Using BCC (Blind Carbon Copy)If you are sending an email to many recipients, and those recipients do not know each other, it is customary to use a Blind Carbon Copy (BCC). This is the same as a CC (Carbon Copy) email but the other recipients are hidden, and so you are not providing potentially private email addresses to a large number of people. However, the BCC option does not appear by default. Outlook 2016

The recipients will still be visible in your copy of the email stored in Sent Items, but the email received by each recipient will not include the other addresses. To test this, include yourself in the BCC list. Mozilla Thunderbird (pre-2020)
