To Move the Menu Bar to the Top

By default, Internet Explorer 7.0 shows the address bar first, then the menu bar, then the tabs. Most applications show the menu bar first.

To force Internet Explorer to show the menu bar first, open a command prompt and type (all on one line):

reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser" /v ITBar7Position /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

The change takes effect the next time Internet Explorer is started.

Navigating Between Tabs

• Press Ctrl-Tab to display the next tab.

• Press Ctrl-Shift-Tab to display the previous tab.

• Click ↓ (which appears to the left of all the tabs) to display a list of tabs.
