iPhone: Personal Hotspot Feature Missing

The iPhone's “Personal Hotspot” feature should appear in the main Settings app, just below Airplane Mode and Wi-Fi. If it is missing, it may be due to some network settings in the device which are invalid or corrupt. To resolve:

1. Press the Home button and choose the Settings app:

2. Tap General.

3. Tap Reset.

4. Tap Reset Network Settings.

   The iPhone will reboot after this, and you will need to re-enter any wireless network passwords.

When the iPhone has restarted, go back to Settings. If Personal Hotspot does not appear on the main screen:

1. Tap General.

2. Tap Mobile or Cellular.

3. Tap Personal Hotspot and turn it on.

After this the Personal Hotspot feature should work, and should appear in the main Settings app.
