How to Notify Customers of Your New Bank AccountIf you have changed bank accounts you can email any clients who have paid you by EFT. The procedure is: Step 1: Clear Tags from all Organisations- Go to Contact Manager → Enquiries — Contacts.
- Click Next Step (Results).
- On the Results List tab, click Tagging….
- Click Untag All (including those not in the results list).
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK to close the confirmation dialog.
- Click Close to close the tagging dialog.
- Click Close to close the enquiry.
Step 2: Tag Customers Who Have Paid with EFT- Go to Accounts Receivable → Enquiries — Transactions.
- Choose Type: Receipts.
- Under the Advanced II tab, choose Payment Type: Direct Deposit / EFT / Bpay.
- Click Next Step (Results).
- Under the Special tab, click Tag all organisations in these results.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK to close the confirmation dialog.
- Click Close to close the enquiry.
Step 3: Generate an Email List for the Tagged Customers- Go to Contact Manager → Enquiries — Contacts.
- Select Tagged Entries Only.
- Click Next Step (Results).
- Click Send Email.
- Choose Generate an email string (that can be copied into one major email message).
- Untick Add History Comment.
- Untick Limit to active “opt in” emails?
- Click Generate an Email String.
- Highlight the resulting list of emails and press Ctrl-C to copy into memory. Then paste into a new message using your email program. Be sure to use BCC (Blind Carbon Copy).
